TO PROTECT AND SERVE. The primary goal of the Manchester Police Department is to provide a safe and secure environment for our residents and visitors to the community. The department is responsible for providing police services to the Town and the Village of Manchester. The coverage area comprises 36 square miles and includes both State and Town highways. The Police Department investigates all crimes, responds to calls for service and provides a roving security patrol. In addition to these services, the Police Department is involved in numerous proactive prevention programs such as foot and bicycle patrols.
