TO PROTECT AND SERVE. he Patrol Division is comprised of a Lieutenant, four Sergeants, and twelve deputies. These deputies are responsible for enforcing the laws of the State of Texas within 900 square miles of Lubbock County. Patrol deputies assist all other jurisdictions within Lubbock County making the patrol division the most visible division of the Sheriff�s Department. Patrolmen answer calls of service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They conduct preliminary criminal investigations, execute warrant and civil service. Deputies are continually receiving in-service training to stay abreast of the constantly changing laws to better serve the citizens of Lubbock County.
