TO PROTECT AND SERVE.The Henderson Police Department is currently composed of 50 paid employees, 8 reserve officers, and numerous civilian volunteers. The paid Employees consist of four non-sworn clerical positions, four non-sworn communications officers (dispatchers), two narcotic task force officers, seven non-uniformed detectives, 23 uniformed patrol officers and three administrators. A Chief of Police, assisted by 2 Deputy Chiefs, one over the Patrol Division and one over the Criminal Investigative Division, commands the department. The patrol division consists of one Deputy Chief, four Lieutenants, four Sergeants, four Dispatchers, 15 uniformed patrol officers, and 8 uniformed reserve officers. The Criminal Investigation Division consists of one Deputy Chief and six non-uniformed investigators.
