The Seneca police Department consist of 35 employees which includes 29 sworn officers and 6 civilian employees. The department maintains patrol, investigations, communication, and administrative divisions.
The police department is active in community affairs. School Resource Officers are assigned to the Seneca Middle and Seneca High Schools; Neighborhood crime watch programs are encouraged and organized by the police department; and the Seneca Elderly Assistance Line (S.E.A.L.) is a program operated by the police department which makes daily phone contact with elderly citizens who request to be contacted each day, just to mention a few.
