TO PROTECT AND SERVE. he Law Enforcement Center houses the Sheriff's Office, Detention Center and Magistrate's Office. Our Law enforcement Center is the product of a 12 year project of Sheriff Goodwin, Magistrate Ferguson, Abbeville County Council and SCDC Officials to update and combine the Previous Sheriff's Office, Magistrates Office and County Jail which all in seperate County building. The new facility is a "State-of-the Art" and will easily carry Abbeville County far into the future. The Law Enforcement Center is located just off of Hwy 28 By-pass, East of Abbeville off of Hwy 72.
