Our agency serves a modern and growing community of around 8000 people with the seasonal summer population being much higher. Presently our department consists of 16 full-time employees including 14 sworn Police Officers and 2 civilian clerical workers. We have an average of just over 10,000 calls for service each year. We are one of the few Law Enforcement agencies that still provides a full range of services to our community. We help the public in a wide variety of situations ranging from unlocking cars and funeral escorts to assisting with medical and fire-rescue emergencies.
