Mission Statement: The Emmett Township Dept of Public Safety shall provide coordination and delivery of Police, Fire, Emergency Medical Care and support services in order to preserve, protect, and defend people and property, while respecting the rights and dignity of all persons. The Emmett Township Dept of Public Safety supports and practices the concept of community policing. Effective community policing has a positive impact on reducing neighborhood crime, and enhancing the quality of life.
