In order to support the Cherokee County Board of Education�s Mission and Beliefs Statement that insures accountability on all levels of the organization to improve student achievement and school effectiveness, the Department has developed a mission statement that shares an equal responsibility in providing the highest quality of professional law enforcement services within the system. The Cherokee County School Police Department is charged with the responsibility of supporting and facilitating the educational process, and providing a safe and secure environment for teaching and learning. Our actions are now guided by the Constitution of the United States, the laws of the State of Georgia, the policies of the Cherokee County Board of Education and the following mission statement:
