The Town of Surfside is ready 24/7 during any emergency situation. The Police Department implements Alpha Bravo Shift (12 hours on and 12 hours off) immediately upon the deterioration of the weather. Alpha Bravo does not evacuate. The twelve officers that comprise Alpha Bravo remain on duty during the entire duration of the emergency.
