The Springfield Police Department is located at 3529 E. 3rd St., on the West end of Springfield City Hall. The Department now has an authorized strength of sixteen full time Police Officers, four Reserve Police Officers, a support staff of six full time and two part time, and provides a wide range of protection and enforcement services. The Department provides 24 hour services and has a Community-Oriented Policing Services (COPS) philosophy. The Department is self sustained and has operational assistance agreements with the Bay County Sheriff's Office and other neighboring cities. For emergency assistance, dial 911.
