The Baker County Sheriff's Office has initiated a Neighborhood Crime Watch Program. This program is designed to create a partnership between Law Enforcement and the community it serves. Crime Watch Programs are designed for small groups of up to fifteen (15) families in the same geographical area. During the initial meeting problems are discussed and solutions proposed. Follow-up meetings are an important part of the program as it keeps the group active. Training is provided by the Sheriff's Office in a number of areas, for example: Home Security, Personal Safety, How Not To Become The Victim of A Crime, as well as demonstrations by the Crime Scene and K-9 Units.
