The Haines City Police Department is located in the heart of the state in northeast Polk County, Florida. Our staff consists of forty- two sworn personnel and seventeen civilian employees. The Department was internationally accredited in November of 1992, and was reaccredited in 1997 and again in 2000 by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). Additionally, we were Florida State Accredited (CFA) in Jensen Beach in October of 1998 and reaccredited in 2001.
