    • Southbury Police Dept The town of Southbury participates in the Connecticut State Police Resident Trooper Program to provide police services to the town. State Police Sgt. Kenneth Kramer supervises the resident trooper program in town. The structure of the resident trooper program includes three resident troopers and the majority of Town of Southbury police corporals and officers who respond to all police emergencies within town. These officers are full-time officers, certified by the State Police Academy and have received specialized training in such areas as accident reconstruction, DARE, crime prevention techniques, and criminal investigation techniques.
