    • Hayden Police Dept Eight certified officers serve Hayden. We have a Police Chief, a sergeant, three Police Officers, and three part time Police Officers. Our offices are located in the Town Hall, 178 West Jefferson Avenue, which is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. After hours contact can be made by calling (970) 276-3232 or 911 in case of emergency. The Town boundaries extend west on Highway 40 to the west end of Meadow Village Trailer Court, east on Highway 40 past the state highway shop, north to the railroad tracks and south past Golden Meadows, for an area approximately two square miles in size. The population is approximately 1,634. The Yampa Valley Regional Airport is also inside the Town Limits. The Department provides 24-hour service, 365 days a year. Officers are always available to respond to calls and we provide numerous around the clock patrol shifts. We operate six marked patrol cars and one animal control pickup.
