The Cedaredge Police Department consists of seven sworn positions: a Chief of Police, four full-time Officers and two Reserve Police Officers. There is also an Administrative Assistant who serves as the Municipal Court Clerk and Evidence Custodian. The Cedaredge Police Department received State Accreditation in June of 2000 All Cedaredge Officers are P.O.S.T. Certified and have completed the Field Training Officer Program. The officers receive numerous hours of additional training each year to maintain their proficiency level. The Cedaredge Police Department currently has two Bicycle Patrol Officers and two Certified Child Safety Seat Technicians.
