Boaz Police Department's police jurisdiction is relatively uncommon for cities the size of ours. The City Limits of Boaz occupies territory in two counties; the Southern portion of Marshall County and in the Northern portion of Etowah County. Due to the 3 mile Police Jurisdiction radius, the Boaz Police Department operates in three counties; Marshall, Etowah and DeKalb.
Our Southern most point is near the intersection of Alabama Highway 179 and Little Cove Road. Our Western most point is just East of the Alabama Highway 168 and Whitesville Road intersection. The North Eastern most point is just West of the Alabama Highway 168 and DeKalb County Road 543 intersection in the Kilpatrick Community. The Eastern most point is just East of the intersection of DeKalb County Roads 26 and 479 in the Aroney Community. And the Northern most point is located just North of the McVille and Blessing Road intersection. We boarder the City of Albertville to our North and Sardis City to our South. The cities closest to our West and East are, respectively, Douglas and Crossville.
